I am pleased to announce the next event organised by the Hornsey & Wood Green Conservatives, is an afternoon tea with Alistair Burt.
Alistair is the party's deputy chairman for international development and assistant opposition chief whip. In the House of Commons Alistair represents North East Bedfordshire and prior to that was MP for Bury North.
Alistair is well known to many of us as, before he was elected to parliament, he was a Haringey Borough councillor for Archway Ward.
The event is being hosted by the constituency Conservative Womens organisation, with all members invited - gentlemen as well as ladies.
The event is taking place on the 1st March 2009 from 2.30pm to 4.00pm.
